Evelyn Eng is a Boston singer-songwriter and recording artist whose music blends guitar-driven soft rock and polished instrumentation with introspective storytelling.  Characterized by her warm mezzo-alto voice and thoughtful arrangements, her music moves fluidly between intimate acoustic passages and vibrant full-band soundscapes, elegantly interweaving the lyrical honesty of folk with the melodic ease of pop.

At the heart of her music are stories about finding love and meaning in ordinary experiences–the places we come from, the people who shape us, and the hope we carry forward. Her songwriting is personal and observational, looking back at experiences from the perspective that comes with time and understanding.

Influenced by artists including Norah Jones and Stevie Nicks, Evelyn is drawn to music that feels honest, melodic, and emotionally resonant. Her aspiration is to create songs that acknowledge life’s harder seasons while leaving room for light, perspective, and gratitude.

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Evelyn is currently preparing her debut EP, When It Rains—a personal introduction to her sound and storytelling. The project explores the difficult and uncertain seasons of life, reflecting on how those very moments often nourish what grows afterward. 

The lead single on the EP, “Tobin Bridge,” is set for release in late November 2026.  “Tobin Bridge” explores how time and perspective can transform a barrier into a point of connection–turning the structure that once separated two worlds into the familiar landscape of home, with paths we might not have chosen but are grateful to have crossed.

With her return to the Boston area, Evelyn is embracing a fresh creative season.  The journey is not simply about what comes next; it’s about continuing to write from a place of curiosity, honesty, and gratitude, allowing new experiences to shape her music while remaining deeply connected to the stories and roots that brought her here.
